Ms. Gendler has an amazing portfolio of artwork that she has created over the years. Some of the art has been reproduced on notecards, some made into prints, and some used in the books she has published. To get her work out into the world, she decided to create a web site that offers her artwork, notecards, prints, and books for sale, and informs potential clients and students about her workshops for children and adults.
Using her artwork as the base for the design of her site, Nomad Cows designed and built a site that highlights her writing, art, and workshops. Extra care and time was taken to make sure her artwork was faithfully reproduced on screen to match as closely as possible the vivid colors and life of the originals. To speed development time and keep costs down, we used a commercially available e-commerce platform and built custom header and footer templates to match the look and style of the rest of her site, even while using the pages and functionality from another site.
