Periwinkle Girl makes a great product that they sell in bookstores in Seattle and at Amazon.com. They needed a presence on the Web so customers could find out more about the product and find out where to buy it. They also wanted customers to be able to make inquiries and get on a mailing list by filling out a form on their site.
To handle the responses, the owners of Periwinkle Girl wanted simple text files that they could import into a Microsoft Excel project they were already using. We decided to create one text file per day and group the files by month and year. A secure administration Web site provides the owners access to their files.
