Michael Matisse, like many photographers, sends out his portfolio regularly when bidding for work. Being that he is computer savvy and already works in a digital darkroom, it was a logical next step to put samples of his work on the Web. With his work instantly and easily accessible, clients can quickly make their initial assessment without Mr. Matisse having to lose time and incur shipping costs. Once again, Put on The Dog masterfully designed the site and provided Nomad Cows with the working design files. From there, we built the site and took it to the Web.
To make the site self-maintainable, we built a simple text page where Mr. Matisse can type in the site's section names. He then adds the names of the images he wants displayed in each section. The site instantly updates itself. Mr. Matisse also received an illustrated and detailed owner's manual that steps him through the process of creating new production artwork for just about every element on his site: background images, new thumbnail images, etc.
