Nomad Cows is based out of San Francisco, CA. But as our company name suggests, we are nomads and we will go where you need us to, and when you need us there.

Our experience comes most from years of building some of the largest and most important Web sites at Microsoft. Good graphic design, intuitive user interfaces, usability testing, sound development practices, thorough test plans, efficient project management: all essential parts of a successful development process - all well practiced and refined.

Relationship? Long term, short term - we’ll be there for you no matter what. But we’ll also build your project in a way that gives you freedom: maintain the site yourself, hire someone else, or rehire Nomad Cows - your choice.

who is this proverbial 'we'?!
Primarily, 'we' is me, Scott Kozinchik, the founder and owner of Nomad Cows. You'll be talking with me on the phone, meeting with me when necessary, and I'll be delivering your product to you. I might very well be the one to build your project, but I might also call on a network of associates (the rest of the 'we') to do certain parts, or all, of your project.

I have six years of experience managing and building very large and instrumental Web sites and databases at Microsoft. While there, I met many talented designers, developers, managers, localization experts, and testers -- inside and outside the company. I continue to work with many of these talented folks, and they may end-up working for you!

This site was designed by Put on the Dog, as are many of our projects. The original artwork of cows, pasture, and mountains was hand-painted on layered animation cells by our most excellent friend, Shinobu Price. And, of course, the site was built entirely by Nomad Cows!
